The woke left is in an uproar after a professional athlete expressed his displeasure over the red-green takeover of America earlier this week.
As The New York Post reported, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander was not happy that disgraced Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed prevailed on Tuesday night.
Following El-Sayed’s win, Santander, who was a 2024 MLB All-Star for the Baltimore Orioles, reposted two Instagram stories that directly targeted the Islamo-Marxist.
One was captioned “America voted for Sharia Last Night” and had a smirking photo of El-Sayed. The other image read, “Islam is not peaceful.”
I’m all for free speech, but this is extremely disgusting and flat out disrespectful stuff shared by Anthony Santander.
Islamophobia is never acceptable, and I hope the @BlueJays take the appropriate action, considering they have some Muslim employees as well. https://t.co/F3VV9cgMLH

Here is a closer look:

Liberals on social media were livid and demanded Santander not only delete the posts (which he eventually did) but also be held ‘accountable.’
santander just posting straight up islamophobia on his story ✌️💔 https://t.co/oWdlv4qz3m

A big FUCK YOU to Anthony Santander for sharing Islamophobic posts! @BlueJays need to suspend him. https://t.co/gCgleXWxu4

My heart breaks for all of the little girls in Afghanistan living under the oppression that so many baseball fans seem to be defending and that Anthony Santander took a stand against.
They’ll never be free because of you people and that’s just disgusting

Anthony Santander is a role model and public figure looked up to by young sports fans.
His reckless actions have impact, and we have seen anti Muslim hate turn deadly in Canada.
Deleting his posts is not enough – Santander owes fans an apology, and the Blue Jays need to take a stronger stand against Islamophobic hate, and be transparent about how they plan to make this right.

Man there a lot of supporters of what Anthony Santander put on his Instagram and it makes me feel like there is a whole lot of hate in the world and some people need to get a touch of reality.
Islamophobia has no place here in Toronto.

Anthony Santander sharing Islamophobic reels on his IG story is not how I wanted to start the day lmao

The Blue Jays organization later caved to the mob and issued the following statement distancing themselves from Santander:
Baseball is for everyone, and the Blue Jays have created an inclusive experience where all fans feel welcome at our ballpark. Individual comments do not represent our organization’s values and beliefs.
