The most exciting thing about the “Burevestnik” technology is the future use of that technology in space (Moon, Mars, Venus, etc.).
You can’t safely colonize the Moon without having these miniaturized nuclear reactors powering 100s of autonomous vehicles, drones, etc.
Similar to the Soviet “Venera” program was possible only because of the enormous technological progress in ICBM technology in (1940s – 1960s).
Imagine Russia providing herself and her allies access to the unlimited power of portable Nuclear reactors in space.
