What if the So-called Feud Between Trump and Elon is Just Theatre?

Right now, Trump controls the base, but not the full Republican Party. Only about half of GOP politicians are truly MAGA. The rest? Career politicians, controlled opposition, and institutional loyalists who’ve been blocking, stalling, or watering down his agenda since day one. Trump fights the Left, yes — but he also has to fight his own party to get anything done!

Enter Elon.

He’s publicly distanced himself from Trump just enough to appear neutral and now, suddenly, he’s floating a new political party — independent, anti-establishment, populist, pro-civilization, but not explicitly tied to any candidate.

Here’s my theory:

The “feud” is the setup. It gives Elon a reason to start his party. It creates space and keeps the optics clean. But what if the whole time, the plan is to build something Trump can eventually walk into?

Think about it…

A new party would free Trump from the dead weight of the GOP — from Mitch McConnell, from controlled donors, from internal saboteurs. It gives him the ability to reshape the movement without compromise, and without dragging half the Republican establishment with him.

Meanwhile, Elon lays the groundwork — controlling the media channels (X), building out tech infrastructure (Grok, AI), and gathering a cross-party populist base disillusioned with the uniparty.

So when the timing is right Trump steps away from the GOP taking his base with him and steps into a ready-made political vehicle that actually supports his agenda. One that’s bigger than the GOP, more future-proof, and impossible for the establishment to control.

This wouldn’t be a third party. This would be a replacement system.

It’s not so crazy is it?
