A VIDEO clip from the May 2023 International Covid Summit featuring Dr Meryl Nass, an American physician and prominent vaccine skeptic, has revealed a blatant push by the World Health Organisation and its sister organisation the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) for new laws that basically abolish free speech.
The WHO has stated that her accusations regarding their drafted pandemic preparedness treaty “are entirely false”. We doubt the sincerity of that rebuttal.
Cairns News notes that there are more than coincidental links between repeated attempts by the Albanese Labor government to censor online content and access, as reflected in their latest so-called “Digital Duty of Care Bill” and Australian technocrat, Adjunct Professor Jane Halton, a previous chairwoman of the WHO and current chairman of CEPI.
Halton would have been privvy to the WHO’s speech control plans and also has the ear of leading politicians, bureaucrats and corporate boards in Australia, where she lives.
In the video clip Dr Nass says “we are undergoing a soft coup, and the idea is to create a whole new set of laws and ignore the existing human rights laws and other laws under the pretext of pandemic preparedness and the biosecurity agenda.”
Dr Nass said the WHO was seeking amendments to remove the human rights protections currently embedded the International Health Regulations (IHRs) and enforce surveillance, censorship, get rid of freedom of speech and require governments to censor and only push a single narrative.
Furthermore, states are bound by enforceable edicts instead of action recommendations, get rid of intellectual property rights, enforce digital passports, give vaccine producers a liability shield and the WHO director general given powers to declare a pandemic on his own judgment.
Dr Nass also reveals that CEPI, is involved in a project, under Dr Jeremy Farrar, to “create safe, effective, and accessible vaccines within 100 days of identifying a new pandemic threat or “Disease X”.
A Reuters fact check article on the video quotes a WHO spokesman who merely points out that Dr Nass held not any official capacity with the WHO, as stated in a caption under the video. He did not deny her claim about plans for free speech censorship.
However, according to official channels, the WHO Pandemic Agreement has dropped explicit references to “infodemic management and misinformation”, and “aims to safeguard free expression while focusing on public health coordination”.

Halton has long been based in Canberra, where she spent more than three decades as a prominent Senior Executive Service figure with roles as the Secretary of the Department of Health and the Department of Finance. She is also an alumna of, and professor at, the Australian National University in Canberra.
Halton is an extraordinary busy body and corporate fat cat reaping millions from her serial board memberships. She was an executive member of Australia’s Covid19 Co-ordination Commission which oversaw the draconian and unlawful pandemic lockdowns and other restrictions imposed on the Australian public.
She was also Co-Chair of the Global COVAX Mechanism, an international initiative aimed at “equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines” during the pandemic; chairwoman of the OECD Health Committee from 2007 to 2012; OECD Co-Chair for the Ad-Hoc Group on Health from 2002 to 2007 and board member of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), an “independent global health research center” at the University of Washington since 2008.
Most tellingly, Halton was a member of the very high-profile think tank called Event 201 that “gamed” the 2020 Covid pandemic a few months before it happened. The half-day pandemic tabletop exercise was held on October 18, 2019, in New York City.
The simulation was collaboratively hosted by prominent organizations including The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, The World Economic Forum (WEF), the CIA, the US CDC, the China CDC, Johnson and Johnson and the World Bank.
Halton also had stints on the board of France’s Naval Group, which unsuccessfully tried to sell Australia submarines worth $90 billion, the ANZ Banking Group, law firm Clayton Utz and casino giant Crown Resorts, which was the subject of a Royal Commission over allegations of money laundering and corruption.
Halton’s agenda reeks of globalism. It’s a wonder she hasn’t been the UN Director General, although we get the very clear impression that she and her circle of “global health experts” basically want to rule the world by making sure we are all protected from the “inevitable pandemics” they talk about.
Dr Nass, a physician from Maine, had her medical license suspended in 2022 by the Maine Board of Licensure for “spreading COVID-19 medical misinformation and prescribing unproven treatments.”
She wasn’t the only medical practitioner persecuted by state medical bodies for pointing out the obvious and now well-known dangers of mRNA vaccines and the safe and effective alternative treatments like ivermectin. There were several prominent cases in Australia.
