Al Jazeera’s undercover investigation records Jack Ross describing a menu of paid violence. Conservatives suspended him, and Scottish police are assessing the film.

Turning Point UK CEO Jack Ross was caught on Al Jazeera’s undercover camera describing how a violent criminal’s contacts could be hired to beat, slash, stab, shoot, or kill people for cash.
Ross introduced an Al Jazeera undercover reporter to Allan Nesbitt, a convicted criminal from Glasgow whom the network reported had claimed connections to the Ulster Volunteer Force. Al Jazeera said Ross had already paid Nesbitt thousands of pounds to stage a fake rally backing the removal of British sanctions on Zimbabwe.
Then Ross spelled out the alleged price list. “They can kick the fuck out of someone,” he said in the recording. “They can start cutting people’s faces up. That’s another amount. They can stab someone. They can shoot someone. They could kill someone.”
The undercover investigation began when an Al Jazeera reporter joined TPUK in 2021. The Guardian reported that Ross told the operative he could “broker” the arrangement, while insisting his own name stay out of it.
The Conservative Party suspended Ross’s membership immediately pending an investigation. Police Scotland said it would review and assess the documentary for possible criminality.
Ross denied Al Jazeera’s findings “completely” and said the statements he made to its undercover reporter were not serious.
