Kentucky Senator warns interest payments will explode to $2 trillion as spending committees ignore DOGE waste reports.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) just dropped a massive truth bomb, exposing a bipartisan betrayal driving America toward financial ruin.
The Kentucky Republican revealed that despite the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) identifying mountain-sized piles of waste, the amount actually cut from the budget was “zero.”
“They found all this waste,” Paul stated during his remarks. “And you know how much of it became law? Zero.”
The Senator named the culprits responsible for the continued plundering of the American taxpayer.
He blasted “big government Democrats” and “big government Republicans” who sit on spending committees and “simply just spent it again.”
Paul’s warning comes as the national debt officially surged past the $39 trillion mark.
The fiscal situation has reached a critical breaking point.
Paul pointed out that the U.S. is still piling on $2 trillion in debt every single year.
The cost of servicing this debt is already exceeding $1 trillion in interest annually.
Paul highlighted a recent Treasury auction where the 30-year note hit a staggering 5% interest rate.
If the debt is converted at these rates, interest alone will explode to $2 trillion next year.
“So this problem is not over,” Paul warned. “If you think it’s over, look at the debt.”
The Senator emphasized that the solution requires leaders who aren’t afraid to “call a spade a spade.”
He made it clear that Republicans are just as much to blame as Democrats for the looming collapse.
“If the deficit comes from Republicans, they will hear about it,” Paul stated defiantly.
Will the GOP establishment finally listen, or will they continue to spend the country into oblivion?
