Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve says she doesn’t want to give the XX-XY supporters anymore oxygen because “people are buying into it.”
Reeve made headlines when she wore a “Trans Kids Belong” T-shirt to a recent game against the Indiana Fever with fearless Christian, Sophie Cunningham.
The Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeves wore a “Trans Kids Belong” T-shirt to the Indianapolis Fever Game earlier this month.
It appears the nutty Minnesota coach is promoting – transitioning children, but she is yet to clarify her position.
Indianapolis Fever player Sophie Cunningham recently famously defended women in sports.
After an ESPN profile in which the 29-year-old star said she wants to “protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men,” the radical left predictably lost its mind. Accusations of “hate” and “transphobia” poured in.
But Cunningham has never backed down in her defense of women making it crystal clear she is not walking anything back.
Meanwhile, Coach Reeve was asked about the growing controversy facing the far-left women’s league on biological men in their ranks.
On Wednesday, Reeve doubled down saying something weird about people need to educate themselves. Wow!
Reeve also admitted she is losing the debate because most people are buying into the opposing position.
Here is the transcript of nutty Reeve doubling down on trans men in female sports.
WNBA Reporter: Trans participation in sports continues to follow this league. You know, do you have any new thoughts on how it continues to be a topic?
Cheryl Reeve: I don’t. I don’t want to give them any more oxygen than they deserve. We know, I’ve said this before, transgender kids belong.
And I think, you know, as we’re seeing sort of politically, in this country. They found a talking point that people are buying into.
And the only thing I ask is that people educate themselves further on these issues and what we’re capable of doing when we work on something together, and that something is not used as, you know, simply rhetoric to marginalize a community that does not deserve marginalization.
A Pew Research Poll found that they are uncomfortable with biological men in women’s sports.
But not Cheryl.
