Musk tells Congress to ‘cut it all’ after Trump threatens deportation in debt ceiling clash

Elon Musk is done playing nice. The debt ceiling bill passed the House. It raises the cap by five trillion dollars. The Congressional Budget Office projects a $3.3 trillion deficit increase over the next ten years. Medicaid gets cut. SNAP gets cut. EV credits get wiped. The tax cuts stay. The red ink spreads.

Musk is not asking for carveouts. He’s telling Congress to cut everything. “Cut it all. Now.” That’s the quote. He’s not protecting Tesla. He’s not shielding SpaceX. He’s saying the system is broken and the spending is suicidal.

Trump fired back. Said Musk is upset about losing the EV mandate. Then said he might “have to take a look” at deporting him. “We might have to put DOGE on Elon,” Trump told reporters. “The monster that might have to go back and eat Elon.” That was not a joke. That was the President of the United States.

Musk is a U.S. citizen. Born in South Africa. Naturalized in 2002. The threat is political. The fracture is real. The alliance is over.

Tesla stock dropped 6.2% in two sessions. Closed under $300. That’s $48 billion in equity erased. SpaceX holds $22 billion in federal contracts. Starlink serves over 800,000 subsidized rural users. Musk said to cut it all if that’s what it takes to stop the debt spiral.

The America Party is not a meme. Domains are filed. PAC paperwork is drafted. Kalshi odds on third-party formation hit 42%. Musk said if the bill passes, the party forms the next day. That day came.

The bill ends the $7,500 EV credit on September 30. It repeals Section 45V hydrogen credits. It caps Advanced Energy Manufacturing support. Total clean energy rollback is $212 billion over ten years. Musk still said to cut it all.

He left DOGE in May. That office claimed $1.1 trillion in projected savings. Most of it is now reversed. The new bill wipes the board.

This is not a policy disagreement. It’s a rupture. Trump says Musk is ungrateful. Musk says Trump is bankrupting the country. The tape shows the fallout.
