MI Sheriff Threatens Criminal Charges Against Jocelyn Benson’s Sec of State Supervisors For “Obstruction of Justice, Witness Intimidation, Interference With Ongoing Criminal Investigation” [VIDEO]

When it comes to investigating and exposing voter fraud in Michigan, Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf continues to be the most committed law enforcement official in the state.

After speaking with a whistleblower who works inside the Michigan Secretary of State’s office, Leaf released a video explaining his account of how non-citizens are allegedly registered automatically, and why clerks cannot clean it up after the fact.

A whistleblower has revealed that Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s election software is programmed to automatically register non-citizens—including illegal aliens—to vote whenever they update or move their addresses!

The feature is hardwired into the system. Local clerks have zero ability to override or block it.
Even worse, clerks are locked out of any meaningful way to verify or determine a voter’s citizenship status.

This isn’t a glitch. It’s built into the software itself—leaving Michigan’s voter rolls wide open to ineligible registrants every time an address changes.

Here are the stated facts, as explained by Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf:

– A confidential informant who works for the Michigan Secretary of State’s office told him that non-citizens are automatically registered to vote when they change their address.

-The informant provided evidence that the Customer and Automotive Records System (CARS) is programmed to congratulate and inform those non-citizens that they have been registered to vote.

-When the informant showed that proof to a supervisor, the supervisor claimed the county clerk would catch it and remove them. Leaf says that is not true. Clerks only get access to the Qualified Voter File after the Secretary of State has already registered the person. The QVF itself does not flag citizenship status.

-Once they are on the rolls, they can request a mail-in ballot or vote in person with an ID card. Polling places do not verify citizenship.

Leaf’s office referred the matter to the U.S. Department of Justice for investigation of a possible conspiracy to violate 18 U.S.C. § 611 — unlawful voting by non-citizens — by placing non-citizens on the voter rolls and into the jury pool.

He also asked the Michigan Legislature to stop the practice immediately and asked anyone with more evidence to contact his office or their local sheriff.

Shortly after posting the video on X, Sheriff Leaf’s claims were called into question. The Barry County, MI sheriff then posted  evidence of his conversation with the whistleblower on X to prove his assertion about Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office registering non-citizens, was factual.

In his most recent video, shared by Irving Township Deputy Clerk Shelly Lake, Sheriff Leaf seems to suggest that supervisors inside Jocelyn Benson’s Secretary of State’s office have been notified to not speak to the Sheriff about his investigation. Sheriff Dar Leaf warns the supervisors with criminal charges for stonewalling his investigation into non-citizens being automatically registered to vote:

I went to interview two critical witnesses. Both of them are supervisors for the Secretary of State’s office.
The supervisors gave me what sounded like a scripted response that they were not permitted to speak with me or cooperate with my investigation.

Today I was provided with physical evidence that proves specific individuals up the chain of the Secretary of State’s office have instructed Secretary of State employees that they cannot speak to the Barry County Sheriff’s Office.
I know who these individuals are.

This is obstruction of justice. Obstruction of justice, witness intimidation, and interference with an ongoing criminal investigation is a crime.

Unfortunately, I may refer these individuals to the federal government for investigation and consideration for criminal charges.

I imagine these individuals are following command, but the command is illegal. You have a duty to disobey an illegal command.

I will recommend immunity for these individuals if they cooperate with the investigation.

To date, the most lawless secretary of state in the nation has gotten away with almost every unlawful action she’s committed — and almost every unlawful action committed under her. Sheriff Dar Leaf is not playing along. Undeterred, the Barry County sheriff is moving to make sure Benson does not get away with automatically registering non-citizens on the voter rolls — and he is now saying her office is obstructing the investigation.
