THE National Farmers Federation and its various state member organisations – Victorian Farmers Federation, NSW Farmers, AgForce etc – will periodically run to the media tell them what wonderful environmental carers they are.
To be fair, farmers know more about the environment than most other occupations. They live with it and work with it through all conditions from flood to drought. They “read it” on a daily basis and don’t need city-based bureaucrats and activists telling them what to do.
But the NFF will hasten to tell these same bureaucrats and activists that they have an entire program dedicated to “sustainable agricultural practices”. “The scale, diversity and variability of Australian agriculture demand that Australian farmers maintain the highest standards of land and animal stewardship in order to survive,” the NFF states.
“The Australian agricultural industry’s approach to sustainable agricultural practices is evident across the life cycle of food and fibre production. From land and water management systems, to animal welfare and plant health, safe and nutritious food production, and in meeting consumer expectations.”
The NFF management will tell you this is more than just a motherhood statement. They will tell you that the NFF is serious about “sustainable” farming and how they engage with this or that environmental group or program.
But in this respect, the NFF and other farm organisations need to develop a little more scepticism when it comes to the environmental agenda. They would have to be blind to not see what is going on at global corporate levels through people like Bill Gates and his grand scheme to get the world off red meat and dairy.
Gates is an arm-waving delusional zealot surrounded by his paid sycophants. Politicians and media are bedazzled by his immense wealth. And because of this Gates cannot recognise his own psychological disorders – the Messianic complex combined with multiple personality disorder.
Recently Gates was the Global Health Messiah, and now swings between Farm and Food Messiah to Net Zero Messiah, come to save the planet from methane-farting livestock by weaning the entire global population from red meat and dairy products and feeding them synthetic and insect protein made in factories.
As Cairns News has reported before, fake meat is already being produced in Australia and is gradually being pushed on to the market. Not surprisingly, these products often find themselves dumped on to charity food distributors because they fail to sell in supermarkets. Farmers and Meat and Livestock Australia can take some comfort from this, but should not think Gates will give up.
The multi-billionaire and eco-lunatic is funding studies at Cambridge University and other places to tell the world that eating red meat is a health hazard, while his multiple investment arms fund insect and “grown meat” protein factories worldwide.
Our farmers might well suggest to Gates and his cronies that the regular meat that most people still eat is in fact “grown meat”, that is, it’s from animals grown on pastures on farms in most nations of the world. The NFF needs to head Gates and his lobbyists off at the pass and ensure that our government requires synthentic meat made in factories be labeled exactly that by law. The NFF and company might well be wondering how long before Gates “buys” legislation to restrict red meat supply and consumption?
The reality is that every major corporate entity in the West writes environmentalist platitudes into their management objectives because the “word from above” is that they need to comply with UN Agenda 2030 objectives. These same platitudes are repeated ad nauseum in media, in parliament, at council meetings, Rotary meetings, community forums, etc, etc.
The NFF, far from directly representing individual farmers across the nation, is actually beholden to these same corporate entities who are also their sponsors – the big seed and chemical companies whose top level management sit on World Economic Forum committees and who push the UN DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) and environmental agendas. Comply with this cosy arrangement and the bankers, the media and the mainstream party politicians will look after you – nod, nod, wink, wink.
This is no conspiracy or secret process. Blind Freddy can see what’s going on and it’s time (to borrow a saying from the unions) that the rank and file stood up and asked some hard questions of their compliant “representatives”.
While environmental policy statements may give the NFF management team a warm inner glow, the reality is far more radical in a world where the ideology of WEF-UN globalism sees itself as the new civilization, the global liberal order and the new world order. Gates is one of their major front men.
Klaus Schwab’s Great Reset plan, for instance, is not a conspiracy theory, it’s an actual global policy guide laid out in a 280-page book. Like Agenda 2030, it’s mixture of communist neo-Marxism, corporate fascism and a sinister eugenics and population control agenda riding on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Now suggest anything sinister about “sustainable development” and the NFF and the media will accuse you of harbouring conspiracy theories. The BBC, for instance, demonstrating the art of the understatement, describes The Great Reset as “A vague set of proposals from an influential organisation” that “has been transformed by online conspiracy theorists into a powerful viral rallying cry.”
Read on and the BBC informs us that these “vague set of proposals” are outlined in the 280-page book mentioned above. The WEF web pages also reveal the Great Reset as a plan of incredible complexity and scope (see inset screen shot). This is typical of mainstream media gaslighting on behalf of global elites who want us to blithely trust elitist organisations like the WEF to make all the important policy decisions that our governments are expected to follow.
If farm organisations are actually doing something positive and taking a stand on the future of livestock farming, we would like to know and we will support them. The delusional Bill Gates needs a slap on the face to wake him up to his own stupid ideas, and one way for that to happen would be for farm organisations to come out and militantly defend what their members do to earn a living and feed the world.
