Hope springs eternal: Is Trump really fighting the evil City of London empire?

Must read

WE at Cairns News have been posting updates from a virtually unknown group of political activists in the United States called Promethean Action, who are an offshoot of the formerly highly despised and heavily persecuted (and prosecuted) movement around the late Lyndon LaRouche.

LaRouche was something of an intellectual cult figure, who published books featuring his offbeat economic and theological theories such as The Science of Christian Economy and Other Prison Writings (ISBN 0-9621095-6-8), published by the Schiller Institute 1991.

We recently learned through the interview we posted of Promethean spokeswoman Susan Kokinda with Patrick Bet David (PBD Podcast) that LaRouche had some input into the Reagan administrations Strategic Defense Initiiative (SDI) aka Star Wars.

Google AI tells us: “Lyndon LaRouche and his organization had a bizarre, highly controversial, and unofficial back-channel connection to elements of the Reagan administration during the early 1980s, centered primarily around ballistic missile defense concepts.

“LaRouche claimed he developed concepts for beam-weapon and space-based missile defense as early as 1977. In 1982 and 1983, LaRouche’s network engaged in informal “back-channel” discussions with Soviet representatives.

“LaRouche maintained that these exploratory talks—coordinated or monitored through contacts with the National Security Council (NSC)—helped shape the strategic environment leading up to President Reagan’s March 1983 announcement of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), dubbed “Star Wars”.”

AI gave a fairly accurate answer when asked why LaRouche would be interested in space-based defense systems: “Lyndon LaRouche championed space-based defense—specifically directed-energy and laser beams to destroy incoming missiles—because he viewed it as a vital “science driver” to force economic growth, replace mutually assured destruction with superpower cooperation, and advance human technological mastery over nature.”

The apparent fact that Trump has adopted the anti-City of London policy once promoted by LaRouche, is remarkable and should be the headline in all the anti-Trump media. The fact that it isn’t might seem to confirm that the global centre of power is very much concentrated in that city.

Media trumpeting of “Trump’s secret/LaRouchian conspiracy against the British” would only tend to confirm the subject of the conspiracy.

From London and the House of Windsor we see the global environmental movement, endorsed decades ago by the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, and fully endorsed by his son King Charles, who recently in a document, scandalously declared himself as “Supreme Governor of the Church of England” and one who “protects the space for Faith within the multi-faith nation”.

From London’s Tavistock Institute we also see the global proliferation through “military psychiatry” of New Left ideology such as feminism, gender and racial identity that has become entrenched in Western education systems.

On the economic plane our frequently featured Barbara Boyd, in this latest offering, says the environmentalist/net zero policies reached a pinnacle under Joe Biden, who banned oil and gas exploration. Trump reversed that policy to the horror of the environmentalist cult.

Furthermore, says Boyd, under Biden and Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, all of the available global credit was funneled into green energy projects, which explains the Albanese Labor government’s obsession with such projects. China, with nuclear and some 1200 coal-fired power stations churning out cheap 24×7 energy, stands back and laughs at the western stupidity. The CCP looks increasingly like they are about to seize control of the global means of production.

Boyd traces the environmental movement back to 1973 when Nelson Rockefeller, through the Commission on Critical Choices for Americans, put in place the policies aimed at strict control of population and economic growth, especially in smaller, emerging economies.

The idea of population control of course had its origin in the writings of the Englishman Thomas Malthus, later to be adopted as part of the eugenics experiments in the US and Nazi Germany, and then morphing into the UN Population Council and related bodies such as Margaret Sanger’s abortion-promoting Planned Parenthood.

On the financial front, Boyd says Trump’s Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who worked for George Soros when he took down the British Pound, is working to stabilize the Japanese Yen, which in turn will strengthen the US dollar, against the actions of the City of London speculators who thrive in unstable markets.

Boyd says the US dollar has been at the centre of the global oil and gas commodity speculation system, built as part of this new global financial system, and cites from a guide to the AI-powered global commodity trading system called Mercora: “A guide to London’s role as a global commodity trading hub, the exchanges and firms that anchor it, the regulatory backdrop and what it means for trade operations teams.”

In other words, the City of London is providing the regulatory environment for the global commodity trading system that replaced gold and physical production as the previous basis for pricing of the dollar. This, under Biden and previous presidents, happened for the currency of the nation that had banned oil and gas production!

Not only that, says Boyd, discussions were underway during the Biden administration to hand the economic sovereignty of the USA over to an international consortium of banks centred on the Bank of England, then overseen by Mark Carney, now Prime Minister of Canada and doing his best to bring that nation into the green global order.

Boyd says Trump cannot finish his job without gaining sovereignty over credit and finance and the “obvious weak point for these money flows is Middle East oil production” because disruption of its flows can upend the entire global economy, as we saw in Australia.

Boyd says Oman, Britain’s Gulf state colony, is pushing for a voluntary toll, which has complicated the issue and prolonged the war.

Nevertheless, Trump is winning over the Gulf states, Saudi Arabia and others with his Abraham Accords that promote peace through economic development and discards the old religious wars. These nations are now investing heavily in the United States.

The counter to this narrative is that of the radical Zionists and neoconservatives screaming for Iran to be bombed into oblivion or Tucker Carlson suggesting Trump has lost his marbles.
