Former Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell, who is under federal investigation, received a nasty surprise at the airport a few days ago.
As The Daily Mail reported, FBI agents confronted Swalwell with a search warrant when he landed at San Francisco Airport on Saturday. They then took the former congressman’s electronic devices, including his cell phone, reportedly as part of a federal criminal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.
The agents also entered Swalwell’s DC home on Sunday with warrants and seized additional undisclosed potential evidence.
The former Congressman maintains a residence there with his wife and three children.
Sources told the Daily Mail that Swalwell was cooperative.
As TGP readers know, Swalwell faces several sexual assault allegations.
At least four females have come forward, including a former staffer who said Swalwell r*ped her twice when she was too intoxicated to consent in 2019 and 2024.
Another woman claimed that Swalwell drugged and r*ped her in 2018. Two of the women alleged that he sent them unsolicited pictures of his privates.
The Department of Justice launched its investigation into the disgraced former congressman in April.
Swalwell is also under investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office after a former staffer came forward to CNN and said the California Democrat r*ped her in 2024.
The unidentified former female staffer sat down with CNN and recounted some of the horrific details about the alleged r*pe that occurred in 2024.
“I went to the bathroom, and I don’t remember anything after that,” she said, adding that she “remembered the next day.”
“I can see flashes of that evening of him on top of me, me pushing him off, him grabbing me. It was a lot more aggressive. It was aggressive,” she said about the 2024 assault.
News of the airport incident also comes after Just The News released newly declassified memos about Swalwell’s relationship with Fang Fang.
According to the memos, Fang Fang actually went to Swalwell’s apartment at least twice, and “he does not remember having candles lit while she was there.”
Fang Fang would show up to Swalwell’s apartment “not wearing any underwear.”
