Ohio Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton made an absolute fool of herself while chanting that Vivek Ramaswamy cannot buy the state.
Video from a rally this week shows Acton trying to rile up a crowd with a sing-song “You cannot buy this state! You cannot buy Ohiooooo! You can’t buy us. You can’t buy us!”
Acton desperately tried to get the room to repeat it.
“You can’t buy us! You can’t buy us in Ohio! That is the end of this.”

Right Line News reporter Eric Daugherty posted the clip on X and wrote, “Not only is this woman unhinged but she will govern Ohio like a LEFTIST DEMOCRAT the moment she gets in. No wonder she’s refusing to debate @VivekGRamaswamy.”
Acton’s campaign has formally rejected participating in debates against Ramaswamy.
Ramaswamy accepted invitations from CNN and Cincinnati’s WLWT and called a debate the job interview Ohioans are owed.
Acton campaign manager Phil Stein said she would not “platform a scam artist who spreads baseless lies about her and her family,” accused Ramaswamy of using AI to paint her as having a substance problem, and said GOP and allied spending north of $50 million had produced “the most vile and repulsive lies” in state history.
Ramaswamy has said that if she will not debate, she cannot lead.
Acton was Ohio’s health director during COVID and is running against Vivek Ramaswamy after an uncontested Democratic primary.
Ramaswamy beat Casey Putsch in the GOP primary.
