On Sept. 11, 2001, Capt. John Ogonowski was the pilot of the first plane hijacked by Islamic terrorists that struck the World Trade Center in New York City.

His brother Jim has turned to Michigan voters, pleading with them not to elect radical Democrat Abdul El-Sayed as U.S. senator in November.

Reporter Laura Loomer shared the powerful ad.

Jim Ogonowski shares, “My brother John was the captain of American Airlines Flight 11, the first plane to hit the towers on September 11th.”

“I lost my best friend that day, and I watched John’s 3 young girls lose their father.”

“Abdul El-Sayed campaigned with a man who said America deserved 9/11.”

“America deserved 9/11, dude.

“That is totally disqualifying.”

“I am asking Michigan voters to protect our nation.”

“Reject Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate.”

Watch:

El-Sayed has repeatedly been asked to disavow Communist influencer Hasan Piker’s comments, saying, “America deserved 9/11.”

He prevaricated and defended the comment, suggesting it was taken “out of context,” and he credited “gocha politics” and “cancel culture” for the controversy.

“Of course. Of course, it was a dumb statement, and of course, I think Hassan himself would say that was a dumb statement. He disavowed it. So yes, America didn’t deserve 9/11, but you know, to sit here and play gotcha politics with dumb things somebody said out of context that they disavowed themselves to say, ‘Oh well, what does that mean about what you think?’” he said.

He then laughably claimed the left agreed that cancel culture was a “bad idea back in 2020,” and accused Republicans of embracing the so-called relic of left-wing politics as if cancel culture isn’t alive and well today in the Democratic Party.

El-Sayed’s opponent, Michigan GOP Senatorial Candidate Mike Rogers, spoke at the first-ever Republican National Committee (RNC) midterm convention, where he exposed El Sayed for fundraising from ISLAMIC TERROR organizations.
