It didn’t take WEST 4 years to “start listening”.
It took the WEST 4 years to “be defeated by their own weapons” …only by those argument they listen to.. and nothing else.
Russia proposed (at least 20 yesars ago ) to them in 2006, 2008, 2014, 2021 to stop NATO expansion, proposed to them to be part of European security… but they were refused.

Nothing will change. Negotiations won’t lead to anything. It’s all a theater. The west isn’t interested in listening to Russia. They want war. They will get it.

If Russia fails to sieze Odessa … attacks on civilian shipping will continue. The EU will continue actions with bad intent. Id imagine this is evident to all, on iether side.

Russia’s objectives have not changed since the beginning of the SM0 and they will achieve them one way or the other and without the “permission” of anyone.

There’s no point in thinking about a Ukrainian breakthrough at Huliaipole; all remaining forces, which are in very limited form, have been diverted north to prevent the fall of Kharkov and Sumy. In the Donetsk sectors, after the fall of Pokrovsk, it no longer makes sense to waste soldiers. But losing targeted territory is one thing; losing further territory near Kiev is another, not to mention the danger facing Odessa if the Russians advance on Kerson. For the Ukrainian leadership, it’s vitally important not to allow the loss of any more oblasts beyond those previously requested by the Russians. The problem is that they no longer have the forces to prevent this from happening.

RU must liberate whole Odessa,Zaporizhzhia, Dnieper Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy region and make a buffer zone along it’s border with Kyiv and the truth is aggressive nato is going to split after they this war, some Eu nations are starting to smell the coffee, Ru & China must stop giving west it’s rare earth, so that military industry complex, AI fall hard.

Negotiating will not lead to anything. The west will not stop trying to divide russia into pieces. They have already started the production of more and more weapons. Our politicians are deep in the pockets of the weapons industry, no matter what party they are all bought… They are hiding huge bills only a war can pay for.
