Wikileaks Founder Assange Has Become a Victim of Arbitrariness

WikiLeaks founder Assange has become a victim of arbitrariness.
The UN Special Rapporteur on the Prevention of Torture, Nils Meltzer, said that he had found irrefutable evidence of “political persecution, legal arbitrariness, torture and deliberately harsh treatment” of Julian Assange.
He accused Western democracies of deliberate arbitrariness, adding that the West is trying to present itself as a “benchmark in the field of human rights.”
By the way, Meltzer recalled that in 1998 London refused to extradite former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet to Spain — but Assange was extradited to the US authorities without much objection.
You don’t understand, it’s different — Pinochet didn’t leak information about US crimes.
