THE sleazy Bill Shorten strategically made the announcement of the coming digital ID system at the National Press Club in August 2024, some eight months before the election. Now that Labor has been returned to power the NSW government has suddenly announced it will implement it’s state version of the system.
Both the federal and NSW digital ID systems are voluntary, but watch the business sector begin to demand it as a “normal” part of transactions. Once that happens, government will demand the same. This is the first step towards the global, centralized digital control grid as planned by the World Economic Forum, a shocking example of which is now being rolled out in New Zealand, as we reported a few days ago.
Digital ID is being sold as “an easy and simple way to prove who you are without handing over your personal details”. You simply open your government ID app on your phone, scan it over a reader and “hey presto you’re instantly approved”.
But just wait Aussies, until they adapt this to a device to start your car with Digital ID2. Oh, it’s such a brilliant safeguard against theft, right? Or when your digital ID reader picks up that you’ve recently bought alcohol? “Our data shows you consumed more than the standard three drinks within the regulated time period, customer. I’m afraid we cannot allow ignition of your vehicle.”
Or what about your online social media activity, monitored by the big tech firm which is required by law to report “hate speech” or “misinformation” to government agencies? So Jimmy tries to withdraw cash, but his digital ID app flashes “Account restricted – recent social media activity flagged for misinformation.” If you think a government wouldn’t do this you know nothing about history.
7News “exclusively” reported the announcement as all very wonderful and amazing. Their reporter even demonstrated how to let the app take a facial recognition scan of your face. Do this and “you’re all good to go” she enthused.
The delusional Digital Minister Dominello stupidly raved that this new system “is unquestionably is the holy grail”. The holy grail of what, we might ask. The coming techno-fascist society?
