New Zealand Signs Kim Dotcom’s Extradition Warrant

Must read

U.S authorities have been trying to extradite Kim for over 12 years over his role in the file-sharing site MegaUpload.

The case came after Hollywood filmmakers, large contributors to U.S political parties, applied pressure to have the site shut down and Kim prosecuted as they feared it would harm their income.

New Zealand’s Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith signed the order saying:

“I considered all of the information carefully, and have decided that Mr Dotcom should be surrendered to the U.S to face trial.”

Kim responded by saying, “Oops. Don’t worry, I have a plan.

I love New Zealand.

I’m not leaving.”
