Killer Karmelo Anthony is not going to be set free anytime soon.
As WFAA reported, Retired Kaufman County Judge Michael Chitty issued a ruling denying the cold-blooded murderer a chance to escape accountability.
Chitty refused to buy into the defense’s stupid claims of racism and a prosecutorial violation of a ‘secret agreement’
From WFAA:
Karmelo Anthony’s appeal for a new trial has failed according to multiple sources. Retired Kaufman County Judge Michael Chitty denied an appeal for a new trial on Saturday, Aug. 22.
Anthony’s appellate team cited a number of errors in the trial, including that prosecutors violated a secret agreement made with Anthony’s trial defense team to keep certain evidence — including allegations of racism and violence — from being disclosed to jurors. The Collin County District Attorney’s office has said that it acted ethically during the trial.
This is breaking news story and will be updated
Anthony can still appeal this ruling.
This news comes after Anthony’s defense team was completely humiliated by Collin County prosecutor Bill Wirskye in recent days, who dropped several pieces of explosive, never-before-seen evidence in the courtroom.
Such evidence included Anthony’s school disciplinary records, which date back to when he was just 6 or 7 years old in Baton Rouge.
His problems were so severe that he was placed on a behavioral plan at the LSU Psych Department when he was just 10 YEARS OLD!
