Israel has begun constructing a massive wall structure in southern Lebanon, in the Aitaroun direction.
The wall, which in some areas is almost 1km deep inside Lebanese territory, is assumed to be a new border wall, which would indicate Israel has effectively annexed large areas of Lebanese territory. Currently it is unknown if Israel plans to build the wall structure across the entire southern Lebanon.
